Synthetic Lifting Slings

Shop our selection of Lift-All and Liftex synthetic lifting slings. Synthetic slings are popular in construction and other general industries because they're fairly inexpensive, come in a variety of standard sizes, and can be replaced easily. Synthetic slings could be the best choice for your lift and can provide the flexibility and strength you need to move material. The materials they're made from are strong enough to lift heavy loads, while also protecting delicate loads from scratches and crushing that can occur when using wire rope or chain slings.

Sling Safety

Be sure to give special considerations to the operating environment, stretch under load, and the possibility of the load causing cuts or abrasion to the sling. If you are using a synthetic sling on a load with sharp edges that can cut or tear the sling, synthetic sling sleeves, corner guards, or edge guards should be used. Synthetic slings also have a relatively low heat-resistance and are not recommended for use in high-heat applications, and should not be used in certain chemical applications depending on the material of the sling. In general, polyester slings are more resistant to acidic environments, while nylon slings are more resistant to alkaline environments. If you are purchasing a sling for use in a chemically active environment, please give us a call to help you choose the best sling for your needs.
